Glam Fairy Episode 4: Glam is a Drag!

Episode 4 of the Glam Fairy, was all about having the glits and the glam, and by far making it all OVER THE TOP!!! Let's start of with A2, she is a cute, silly, kooky, little girl who wants to GROW her fairy wings. She tries to show Alexa her talent, and bless her heart but it wasn't probably shown in the best form. Alexa didn't see her point of the make-up aspect of the photo's A2 presented. To add my thought on Alexa, I feel like she doesn't like anything cute and innocent. She gets sicken by the whole thing, which is such a turn off, which is why she turned down A2 down so fast. I think A2 is just misunderstood, because she's overly tan and comes off ditsy, but her passion is true and she has such a positive attitude, so I get that she wants to expand what little wings she has. So Alexa eventually decides to give A2 her very tiny "strawberry wings", and A2 is very happy that she is on her way. I only wish her the best and hope that she makes her dream come true as a Glam Fairy.

From A2's dilema, the work of the Glam Fairies were tested when it came to styling and making over a group of drag queens, who were friends of the ever so glamorous Glamo. Alexa was ready to take on the challenge, but had the notion that it would be like any regular client, boy was she wrong. The drag queens did not like the make up, it wasn't vamped up enough to their Glam standards. From the wigs to the make-up, to the wardrobe, the glam fairies were confused and uninformed on what pieces put a drag queen together. And when the drag queens didn't like their make-up done the first time, Alexa's feelings were hurt. She just felt like someone didn't appreciate her work, and I get that if something is your baby then it's hard to hear bad reviews, especially from all three clients instead of maybe 1 out of 3. I loved when she said the drag queens, are "like brides on crack" hahaha. So Alexa and her team regrouped and did a more glamified work on the drag queens and it was lovely. They all loved it. The most heartbreaking part of the show, was when Sharie had a revelation with the whole process, when she has had folks who were drag but couldn't be so open about it. So it was a very emotional and happy moment for Sharie, and she thanks the drag queens for being who they are and loving it.

Dipped in Glitter and Out comes Tacky!

There is a reason the "glitter bride" Gretchen came to the glam fairy, and boy was it a bumpy start to a GLAM finish! Gretchen was decked out in sparkle literally from head to toe, when I saw her I was like WOW is this chick serious? I'm all for BLING and being outlandish, but there is a difference between sparkle being elegant, and it being disgraceful. You can still be yourself and poppin and all that bangin without it getting juvenile. And when I got to see Gretchen's wedding dress, that was a throw on money and it was a dis to the designer. It looked like it was having growths all over and it wouldn't stop!!! It wasn't even an ounce of cute on it, just way way too boojie where even the boojie would be scared!!! It was "boojeghtto"! Thankfully Glamo was able to take a nice elegant dress and incorporate the sparkle glitter look she wanted and have it still be graceful! And when she asked to put tinsel in her hair, talk about tacky, that is not cute. And I must say that I hate when bitches on the show cry about getting their hair cut, it's do annoying!!!!

Meanwhile, during all the whacky bride drama, the glam fairy staff get together to create a photo shoot for the updated look to the fairy website. And of course that's not going down without egos crushed and crazy ideas said. Jon, who needs to get his head out of his ass, thinks he is the HBIC on team glam fairy, No! He needs a slap on the face! Anyways he was in charge of how the shoot went, which the shoot wouldn't had happened if it wasn't for Briella's suggestion. And Briella annoys me too, she is too childish and there is just a time where you need to grow up but not be boring, jus show some respect for yourself. In the end they all decided on a rock star theme, yet showing their own styles! It was a hard time to get everyone on the same page, but they all got together and made it work!

This episode may have been tacky but it pulled through to be elegant, and it was entertaining!!!

Glam Fairy: Glam or GlamO?!

"Google me bitch!" "I did google you, and do you know what google said? It said who the f*** is Glamo?!"

Former cast member of the hit show Jerseylicious, Alexa Prisco is back Glaming the style network channel with her staff of over the top "Glam Fairies". Prisco has settled off on her own, leaving Jerseylicious in the dark and shining her own squad aka the glam squad to bring their fierceness. The first episode covered, what else, glaming up a group of tired drab moms who have lost their flare for sexy. But the drama is stirred when Alexa brings a new member of to the team, Glamo! And commence the drama when her client liaison/friend Jon has had a past run-in with Glamo, a fashion stylist, however Jon says Glamo "is not a stylist, he's a diva"!!! And the two get into it when they come face to face at a club and words of altercation are exchanged!! Jon is just a little drama queen school girl and needs to stop worrying over Glamo, don't be mad that Alexa is clicking with Glamo and they are meshing well. You can't have your friends all to yourself. And Glamo you maybe one good stylist, but the diva attitude and Whitney Houston finger waving is not necessary. While it is good drama for tv, the way they were fighting it gets tire some in many ways. I hope these prissy bitches can get it together to expand glam fairy and not bring it crumbling down.
